Blood Moon Vote
Let players vote on the difficulty of the next Blood Moon night.
Where it lives
Blood Moon Vote isn't a dedicated panel screen. It's split across three places:
- Configuration: Settings → Blood Moon Vote. Turn voting on, choose the voting window, and list the difficulty options players can pick from.
- Monitoring: the Dashboard shows a live progress bar while a vote is open, along with the current tallies.
- Override: the Dashboard has a Force skip vote button for admins. It ends the current vote immediately.
How it works (player side)
- Before a Blood Moon night, if voting is enabled, players get a prompt in-game to pick a difficulty.
- Their votes feed the tally shown on the Dashboard.
- When the voting window closes (or an admin force-skips), the winning difficulty is applied to that night's horde.
Notes
- A tie goes to whichever option was configured as the default in Settings.
- Force-skipping doesn't just end the vote. It also applies the current leading option. If nobody has voted yet, the default kicks in.
