Console

A browser-based server console with live log streaming and command execution.

What you see

  • Command input at the top (or bottom, depending on build).
  • Log output with entries color-coded by level (error, warning, info).
  • Connection status indicator showing the live WebSocket state.
  • Auto-scroll toggle.

Actions

  • Run a command. Type a server command and hit Enter. Output streams into the log.
  • Arrow keys scroll through command history.
  • Toggle auto-scroll to pause the log when you want to read something without it jumping away.

Real-time

The console is connected to the server over WebSocket (port 8889). Logs stream live, not on a poll.

Notes

  • The log buffer is capped at 2000 lines; on overflow the oldest 500 are dropped (keeping the most recent 1500).
  • If the connection status shows disconnected, commands won't run. Check that port 8889 is reachable from the browser's network.
  • Commands use the same syntax as the in-game console. KitsuneCommand adds a few kc- commands on top: kc-gi (give items), kc-gm (global message), kc-pm (private message), kc-rs (restart server). Type help to see the full list.
